What is Home Assistant?

Home Assistant is the world's most popular platform for smart home control. It brings together devices from all kinds of manufacturers in a single interface — on your phone, tablet, or PC.

With this, you can create your own overview pages and automate workflows, for example: "If the fresh water tank is almost empty, send me a message on my phone."

Don't have Home Assistant yet? The official installation guide shows you how to install it.

What can the Revotion integration do?

The integration connects your Revotion system with Home Assistant. The best part: your Revotion devices can be combined with everything you already have in Home Assistant — control them together, group them, and link them in automations. For example, a motion sensor can turn on the awning light, or the heating can start when your solar system has enough surplus power.

Setup takes just a few minutes: copy the access from the Revotion app, paste it into Home Assistant — done. All your devices appear automatically.

Keep an eye on things

  • Battery — charge level, remaining runtime and much more
  • Tank levels and temperatures
  • Location of your vehicle or boat on the map

Control

  • Turn switches on and off
  • Dim lights and change colors
  • Operate awnings, windows and leveling jacks

Plus

  • All values arrive in real time
  • Connect devices can also be displayed and controlled
  • New nodes appear automatically as soon as you pair them
  • Multiple Brains at the same time possible
  • Voice control via Home Assistant: Control your system with Siri, Alexa or Google Home (see for example the HomeKit integration)

  • HACS (during beta) — you'll need a free GitHub account for this
  • Revotion Brain with WiFi connection (from Brain version 2.3.2)
  • The Revotion app
