REVOTION
August 26 UpdateWhat's new
Better overview of energy and battery, a new tilt angle widget, and updates that run more reliably in the background.
With the August 26 update, your REVOTION system becomes more reliable in everyday use. Settings are preserved, updates run more smoothly, and your system supports more components for energy, battery, and vehicle.
Which versions are included in this update
Which versions are available on your vehicle depends on the installed hardware and the respective update.

New integrations for your energy system
The Connect NODE expands support for Victron Energy components and CAN batteries. This allows more parts of the energy system to be monitored together on supported installations.
- Victron BMV battery monitor and SmartShunt
- Victron MPPT solar charge controller and Orion XS DC DC charger
- Victron Phoenix inverter and chargers
- CAN bus lithium batteries via BMS CAN
Depending on the installed components, shunt, solar, DC DC charger, inverter, and battery can be combined. The Phoenix inverter offers on, off, and eco modes. The Phoenix charger provides data but is not controlled.

Settings are preserved, updates continue
Saved settings on connected devices remain where you set them. If something changes directly on the device, the app will adopt the actual state only after confirmation.
Firmware updates resume after an interrupted connection where they left off. The BRAIN checks storage space and connection. On General, Connect, and Battery NODEs, important protection functions such as overcurrent and undervoltage protection remain active during the update.
Better overview of your battery
The charge level display of lithium batteries changes more smoothly and better matches the actual state. Runtime reacts faster to large consumers, and charging time better accounts for charging losses.
Energy meters and statistics remain more reliable over the long term. On the Battery NODE, settings and existing statistics are preserved after the update. Fuel senders can be calibrated more reliably, lights dim more finely in the lower range, and external switches resume their actual position after a restart.
Tilt angle directly on the home screen
The new tilt angle widget shows the longitudinal and lateral axes of your vehicle with the measured degree values and the respective direction. When the tilt is stronger, the display changes color and provides a clear indication.
Before first use, you select how the BRAIN is mounted in your vehicle. After that, you can calibrate the tilt in the app.

More stable connection to the app
The Bluetooth connection has been made more robust, especially at the edge of range and when reconnecting. On iPhone and iPad, it should disconnect unexpectedly less often and reconnect automatically faster when coming back into range.
WiFi can be turned on and off without reconfiguration. If the system detects a WiFi connection that is no longer working, the BRAIN can fall back to mobile data more effectively.
