What's new: Automations, scenes & much more!
Your system now acts on its own: with automations, scenes, and a weekly schedule that run directly on the BRAIN. Plus five new heating integrations.
The October 2026 update is the biggest update the Revotion app has ever received. You set up once what your vehicle should do, and the BRAIN takes care of it, even when nobody is around.
These versions are part of the update

General NODE and Battery NODE remain at their current version.
Automations, scenes, and the weekly schedule require BRAIN 2.4.0. The five new heaters additionally require Connect NODE 2.4.0. Tilt compensation in centimeters also requires BRAIN 2.4.0. Everything else runs without new firmware.
Automations
"If it gets too warm inside, turn on the fan." Your system now takes care of that automatically.
The rules run on the BRAIN, not on your phone. So they work even when no one is at the vehicle. You'll find them under the new Automations entry in the side menu. The BRAIN stores up to 10 rules.
- IF: Charge level, voltage, current, temperature, fill level, power, switch state, alarm and fault status, solar yield, cell voltages, and your vehicle's tilt angle. The Thitronik alarm system can also trigger: door opened, alarm triggered, armed, or locked. You combine multiple conditions with "All conditions" or "Any condition".
- THEN: Switch and adjust devices, activate a scene, or turn another rule on and off.
- Each rule appears as a sentence, not a formula. You can pause it instead of deleting it.
- After triggering, a lockout time applies. For each condition, you set a hold time during which it must remain continuously met. You can adjust both down to the second.
- The editor only offers you what your device actually accepts: voltage limits according to the datasheet, temperatures in the precision your device provides, and no combinations that your system would reject.
- You can see when a rule was last triggered and whether the BRAIN knows the latest status. A banner tells you what has happened since your last visit.
- The app warns you before saving if two rules control the same device or would trigger each other.
- If a rule gets stuck, the app names the affected action in plain language.
- An info button guides you through the rule editor.
You can do all this remotely too: create, change, and turn rules on or off, over mobile or WiFi. The BRAIN needs to be online for this.
Scenes
One tap, and your whole vehicle is set up right: "Arrival", "Night", or "Departure".
You'll find them under the new Scenes entry in the side menu. For the home screen, there's a scenes tile in four sizes. The BRAIN stores up to 10 scenes.
- For each device, you set what gets activated. What you don't set, the device keeps as is.
- When you turn off a scene, it turns off exactly what it turned on, and nothing else.
- Awning, roof vent, and pop-up bed follow along, each with direction.
- For lighting moods, you choose a fixed mood or the last used state.
- Devices with multiple circuits ask which one you mean: Truma Combi and CP Plus (air circuit, boiler, climate), Timberline (zones 1 to 5, floor heating, boiler), Webasto CI-BUS (air heating), and EcoFlow (230V or 12V outlet). "On" there means: which circuit.
- Victron devices with output follow along: BMV and SmartShunt relays, MPPT load output, Orion XS, and Phoenix inverters (on, off, eco).
- Each line shows how the device is doing right now: "NO POWER", "DEVICE NOT FOUND", or "CONTROL PANEL", using the same word and color as on the tile.
- A scene is also an action of an automation.
- If the BRAIN can't yet switch a device in a scene, it stays saved and runs along again as soon as it can. It doesn't silently drop out.
You can also create, change, and trigger scenes remotely, over mobile or WiFi. The BRAIN needs to be online for this.
Weekly Schedule
Plan by the clock: "Every Friday at 16:00 start the 'Arrival' scene."
You'll find the weekly schedule in the side menu under Automations and Scenes. The appointments are on the BRAIN; it stores up to 10 of them.
- An appointment applies every week on the days you choose, every two to eight weeks, once, or within a time period.
- All times are in local time.
- The app opens the weekly schedule only when the BRAIN knows the time. If the entry is missing, give the BRAIN a network connection once.
New heaters on Connect NODE
Five heaters can now be connected, each with its own tile, its own dialog, and its own configuration. The Connect NODE now supports 20 released device types, previously it was 15.

AUTOTERM Air
Thermostat, power level, and ventilation, with outside temperature and supply voltage.

Eberspächer Airtronic 3 (CAN)
Heaters can now be unlocked and faults displayed in plain text instead of error numbers. Note: Only possible without the original control panel.

Webasto Air Top Evo
Normal, Boost, and Eco, also selectable in the off state. The Connect NODE recognizes the heater automatically; no model selection is needed during installation.

Webasto CI-BUS
A NODE on the CI-Bus. Air heating is unlocked.

Timberline 1.0 & 2.0
Zones, floor heating, hot water via gas or electric, burner status, and frost protection. Each tile controls the zone you assign to it, or all at once. Zones can be renamed. Both Timberline generations are supported.
Tilt angle in centimeters
Degrees don't tell you how high the wedge needs to be. When you enter your vehicle's track width and wheelbase, the app calculates the compensation in centimeters, separated for side-to-side and front-to-back. You also get the right instruction: ramp the axle or crank the support wheel.
These are the chassis dimensions, not the length and width of the body. Using the body dimensions would make the side-to-side compensation about a quarter higher and the front-to-back compensation almost twice as high. If either dimension is missing, the display stays in degrees instead of showing a number that looks definitive but would be a guess.
The tilt angle can also be used as a condition in an automation, for both side-to-side and front-to-back.
Guided Tours
An info button guides you step by step through the screen. The explained area is highlighted, everything else is dimmed, and "Next" scrolls to the next point.
The tours are available in the side menu, under "My Devices and Nodes", when connecting, in settings, under REMOTE, under automations and scenes, and in device settings.
Settings cleaned up
All dialogs in your system now have the same structure: General, WLAN, Security, Updates, Information, Backup, Efficiency and Tilt Angle. Values appear as cards, actions as tiles, with the critical action clearly separated at the end.
New are two separate dialogs: Rename BRAIN and WLAN credentials. Cards and buttons now visibly confirm every touch.
Backups and Migration
The configuration backup now includes everything: scenes, automations, the weekly schedule, holders, and switch locks. A factory reset or switching to another BRAIN won't cost you any of it.
Anything that can't be restored is explained to you with a reason, instead of disappearing silently.
Minor Improvements
- Mobile LTE-M: After a connection loss, the BRAIN now reconnects to the mobile network faster. This means your system is reachable remotely again more quickly after a dead zone. This demonstrably increases connection reliability and uptime to over 99%.
- Energy Overview: Each widget now shows whether its device is currently responding. A charger at 0 A otherwise looks like one that isn't connected.
- Remove multiple NODEs at once: long-press one NODE, tap more, remove.
- Truma Combi can no longer be newly selected; the successor is Truma CP Plus. Existing systems continue to run unchanged.
Fixed
- Ghost tiles on the home screen are gone: no more spaces that take up room but show nothing. When you delete a tile, the ones below move up.
- Refrigerator: The actual temperature showed decimal places, and the tile and dialog contradicted each other.
- Notices: When device errors occurred, the notice dialog stayed gray and couldn't be dismissed.
- Tilt angle: The mounting selection now fits on narrow displays.
- Update and information dialog: No more crashes without an active BRAIN, no red progress bar, no misleading "BRAIN update available" status.
- Demo mode: displays firmware and hardware version again.
On Revotion panels
These points only affect the panel variant, not the app on your phone.
- Voice control BETA: "Revotion, turn off the kitchen light." You switch and dim lights, switches and ambience, open, close and stop awnings, roof hatches and pop-up beds, and adjust temperature, level and percentage both absolutely and relatively ("brighter", "two degrees warmer"). It works in 9 languages, with confirmation instead of guessing, with "undo" in the feedback and a custom voice name for each device. The microphone never runs in the background.
- WiFi directly in settings: search for networks, see signal strength and connect with a password, without detouring through system settings.
- Secure self-update: the panel checks the checksum before installing and resumes an interrupted download instead of starting over.
Update note
Install the updates as usual in the Revotion app as soon as they're offered to you.
- BRAIN first, then features: automations, scenes and the weekly schedule appear in the app only after the BRAIN update has completed.
- Update Connect NODE first: bring the Connect NODE to 2.4.0 before setting up any of the five new heaters.
- Groups via "#Name#" no longer exist: if you previously switched multiple devices together via a shared "#Name#" in the device name, now each one only switches itself. Create a scene instead. Main switch and "All ambience" remain unchanged.
- Connection after the update: You don't need to re-pair anything in the Revotion app. If your Android phone can't find the BRAIN afterward, remove it once in your phone's Bluetooth settings and reconnect it.
