How do I connect sensors to the NODE Level?

Here we show you how different sensors need to be connected to the NODE Level. The NODE Level reads water and fuel tanks as well as gas bottles – depending on the application, different sensors are used.
Fresh & Wastewater Tanks
For water tanks, we recommend the capacitive tank electrodes from Votronic. They measure the fill level completely electronically without moving parts, making them particularly robust and low-maintenance. Alternatively, classic float sensors (0–190 Ohm) are also supported – practical if these are already installed.
Important note: If multiple capacitive tank sensors with voltage are installed in the same water tank, they can interfere with each other. In this case, only one tank sensor should be used. A practical example: A CBE voltage sensor and a Votronic tank electrode interfered with each other, so neither sensor displayed correctly.

The Votronic sensors are connected in the same way as the SuperSense sensors.
Gas Bottles
For gas fill level, we recommend the Supersense Scale X Pro: https://shop.revotion.de/collections/zubehoer/products/supersense-scale-x-pro
Important note: The signal cable of the SuperSense Scale X Pro must not be extended. An extension can lead to incorrect or highly fluctuating readings. Always use the scale with the original, unmodified signal cable.
Alternatively, the NODE Level also supports the Supersense ultrasonic sensor as well as Livello sensors. Livello sensors are not available in our online shop.
Important note: Ultrasound belongs to gas, not water
The SuperSense ultrasonic sensor is exclusively for gas fill level measurement. For water tanks, we generally recommend the capacitive Votronic tank electrodes or classic float sensors. If you're unsure which sensor fits your tank: water tank = Votronic or float, gas bottle = SuperSense (Scale X Pro or ultrasonic) or Livello.
