# Battery system for high currents with REVOTION

If your vehicle draws a lot of current at once, you don't connect the consumers individually via the NODE® Battery, but together via a TEXU distributor and a NODE® Battery High Current. This keeps your current measurement clean and you can add consumers later without rebuilding the system.

## Division of tasks

- **NODE® Battery:** It records the charging currents and ensures safe operation of the auxiliary battery.
- **NODE® Battery High Current:** It records all consumers together and can handle currents up to 500 A.

## Connection to the TEXU 400

1. Connect the positive pole of the battery to the 400-A input of the TEXU.
2. Remove the connecting plate to make room for the NODE® Battery High Current.
3. Connect the negative pole of the battery to the small negative distribution.
4. Replace the connecting plate with the NODE® Battery High Current and pay attention to the correct installation direction.
5. Connect the positive connection of the NODE® Battery to the 200-A input of the TEXU.
6. Connect the negative connection of the NODE® Battery to the small negative distribution.
7. If you use the vehicle chassis as ground, connect this connection to the small negative distribution as well.
8. You can take the positive connections of the consumers from any inputs.
9. All negative connections of the consumers go to the large negative distribution.

## Connection to the TEXU 200

1. Connect the positive pole of the battery to the 200-A input of the TEXU.
2. Connect the negative pole of the battery to the battery side of the NODE® Battery High Current.
3. Connect the system side of the NODE® Battery High Current to the negative distribution.
4. Connect the positive connection of the NODE® Battery via a 200-A fuse to the battery positive pole.
5. Connect the negative connection of the NODE® Battery to the battery negative pole.
6. If you use the vehicle chassis as ground, connect this connection to the battery negative pole.
7. You can take the positive connections of the consumers from any inputs.
8. All negative connections of the consumers go to the negative distribution.

## Configuration in the app

### 1. The NODE® Battery as main battery

Set up your NODE® Battery as usual and turn on **Synchronize all NODE® batteries** – this NODE® provides the technology, voltage, and capacity for all others.

### 2. The NODE® Battery High Current as consumer

Open the NODE® Battery High Current, scroll down to the **Channels** section, and select **Consumer** for **Channel 1**. Leave the **Synchronize all NODE® batteries** switch off on this NODE®. Save both NODEs when you're done.

![Expanded channel selection with Consumer entry highlighted](https://university.revotion.app/api/public/university/image/images/fb063823-bf92-4eb3-8b8b-e889197e59fc/01-kanal-verbraucher.png)

**Important:** If the switch is on on both NODEs, both will constantly show 100% charge level – even a calibration won't change that.

**Note:** If a single inverter is connected to the NODE® Battery High Current instead of the entire consumer side, the channel there will be labeled **Inverter** instead of **Consumer** – for instructions on how to do this, see the article "Connecting inverters with NODE® Battery and NODE® Battery High Current".

We show you the complete setup in this [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwv_EmQFAdY).
